The Science and Technology Entry Program (S.T.E.P.) was established at Buffalo State in the spring of 1986. S.T.E.P. was designed to motivate and prepare students to pursue careers in mathematics, the sciences, technologies, and the licensed professions. It is supported in whole or in part by a grant from the New York State Education Department.
